The seed of the gospel
Mark 4:19 ‘And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word,’
The most precious gift we can receive is new life in Christ.
The Holy Spirit is able to produce new life
when the seed of the gospel is planted in our heart.
If we choose to follow the world;
to seek what it can give;
and to desire its pleasures;
then theology can fill our mind
but Christ will never fill our heart.
