Sin separates and condemns; Christ reconciles and sets free.
Colossians 1:21 ‘And you, who were once alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now has He reconciled’.
Sin separates us from God;
it causes the wrath of God to be upon us;
and brings death.
If we love sin;
and choose to remain united with it;
by rejecting the offer of salvation in Jesus Christ;
then our sin will condemn us and ultimately destroy us.
If we receive Christ;
the power of sin is broken;
we are united with God;
free from condemnation;
and in Jesus Christ we have new life.
