Speaking scripture to one another; singing to the Lord.

Ephesians 5:19 'Speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;'

Speaking scripture strengthens our faith;

keeps us in hard times;

encourages us in the difficult times;

motivates us when we feel weary;

and lifts us when we feel down.

It fills our heart with praise and thanksgiving

for all that Jesus Christ has done for us;

and causes us to rejoice because of who we are in Christ.

When we sing to the Lord in our heart

then our focus is taken away from ourselves

and placed upon Jesus.

It gives us an awareness of His presence with us;

of His goodness towards us;

and of the wonderful blessings we have in Christ.
