Controlled by the love of God; remaining steadfast by the patience of Christ.
2 Thessalonians 3:5 ‘May the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ.'
When Christ is our life then He leads us in truth
so we grow in the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ;
He opens up our understanding through His word
so we become mature in Christ;
and He produces the fruit of His Spirit in our life
so we are controlled by His love
and not led astray by the desires of a carnal nature.
He makes our paths straight and leads us in the right way
so that Christ is glorified through us.
The love of Christ will equip us for ministry;
patience will make us steadfast under pressure
so we can remain faithful in serving Jesus.
