The Holy Spirit equips us so we can care for one another.
1 Corinthians 12:25 'That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.'
If we seek to produce unity
then it is not the unity of the Holy Spirit.
We do not create unity;
we must keep the unity we have in Christ.
The church is not an institution;
it is the living body of Christ.
His life dwells in us uniting us as one body.
When we love Christ then we will love His body.
We need one another;
the Holy Spirit equips us so we can care for one another.
Self exaltation will produce schism;
the love of Christ will break down barriers.
Love does not pull others down but always seeks to build up.
