The shield of faith.
Ephesians 6:16 ‘Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.’
The attacks of the enemy come in different ways:
Thoughts that attack the mind;
words spoken against us;
or trials that make it difficult to go on.
The shield we take up is the Lord and in His word we will trust.
