Effective prayer flows out of relationship.
1 Timothy 2:1 ‘I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all;’
God works on our behalf through prayer.
Effective prayer flows out of relationship.
It is the place of fellowship with God;
it is speaking to God as a friend;
calling upon His help in trouble;
being able to represent others so the Lord will work on their behalf.
It is entering the very throne room of God and petitioning the King.
We give thanks because in Jesus Christ
we have boldness to pray knowing that our prayer will be answered.
