Maturity; experience; knowledge of the word; relationship.
1 John 2:13 ‘I write unto you, fathers, because you have known Him who is from the beginning’.
The need of the Church is for fathers;
not a profession or a title held by religious leaders,
but people who know the Lord in intimate relationship.
People who care for the welfare of others;
known for their maturity in Christ;
having a lifetime of experience through walking daily with the Lord;
filled with the word of God
and knowing that He is able to do what He has promised;
ready always to pray for others;
and having such a close relationship with Jesus
that they only have one desire,
to know Him more.
