Abide in Christ
1 John 2:28 ‘...abide in Him; that, when He shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.’
To abide in Christ is to remain steadfast in His word
so that the love of Christ controls
our thoughts; our words; our actions.
If we let His life be seen in us, we will be filled with joy when we see Him.

What it means to abide in Christ
(1) live a righteous life;
(2) love His word and trust in His promises;
(3) love others as He has loved us;
(4) do His will no matter what the cost;
(5) tell others what Jesus has done for us.
