Romans

His love stood with us.

Romans 5:8 ‘But God commends His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.’

The word translated commends means to stand together.

Christ died for us because He loved us.

The love of God stood with us when we were lost without hope.

He loved us then; His love will continue to stand with us forever.
