Be sober; be on guard; and be clothed
1 Thessalonians 5:8 ‘But let us, who are of the day be sober, putting on the breast-plate of faith and love; and for a helmet the hope of salvation.’
Be sober means to keep ourselves from the intoxication of the world;
to guard our heart and mind;
to be ready for when Jesus returns;
to clothe ourselves daily with faith, love and hope.
