We are to be who we are in Christ.

Ephesians 5:8
"For you were sometimes darkness, but now are you light in the Lord: walk as children of light:"
We do not blindly follow sensual desires.
We are to be who we are in Christ.
We do not try to live a Christian life.
We have a new nature in Christ.
We are a new creation.
We follow truth by keeping His word upon our heart.
We walk in the light by putting on the new life we already have in Christ.
The Holy Spirit who dwells in us will keep us in the right way
as long as we remain sensitive to His leading.
The light of the gospel is able to shine through our life
when we walk in His love and obey His word.
