The Christian life is not legalism or morality; it is union with Christ.

It is because Christ is our life

that we seek to do the things that are pleasing to Him.

We learn to walk in new life through experience; growth; and fellowship.

The love of Christ motivates us to obey His will;

the scripture teaches us to know His will;

and the Holy Spirit strengthens and empowers us to do His will.

When we desire to please the Lord

then it will be seen by our love for His word;

our love for one another;

and by our love for the lost.

The Holy Spirit will be grieved if we keep bitterness and anger in our heart.
