Philippians 4:9

"Those things, which you have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you."

New life in Christ must be both taught and seen.

The gospel needs to be taught by our words; seen in our life;

and then reproduced in others.

The authority of our words is dependent upon the example of our actions.

The things people see in us will determine how effective we are

in leading others into the truth of the gospel.

We teach others how to pray by having an effective prayer life;

we teach the love of Christ by letting His love control our actions;

we show the mercy of God by being merciful to others and showing forgiveness;

new life in Christ must be both taught and seen.
