Serving Christ is the highest honour.

We can joyfully do the smallest task because the greatness of the task

is seen by the greatness of the One we serve.

We are free to take the lowest place,

free to serve one another,

and free to be both last and least because we belong to the Lord.

Knowing that we have been faithful in serving Christ

is far greater honour than the praise and recognition of others.

We do not seek the highest position

because Christ has lifted us to the heights of His glory.

We are who we are because Christ lives in us.

He has made us sons and daughters of the living God.
