Peace in heaven.

Luke 19:38
"Saying, Blessed be the King who comes in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest."
Jesus brought peace in heaven through His death and resurrection.
He overcame the works of the devil for us.
He brought peace in heaven so we can know peace on earth.
Not the peace that the world seeks after,
but the peace of being justified through faith in Christ alone.
The promise of God to justify His people was fulfilled through the cross;
His word to His people was proved right;
the greatness of His wisdom revealed through His salvation;
the depth of His love seen by all He has done for His people.
He is our King. He will be glorified in His people.
