John 19:30
"When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, He said, It is finished: and He bowed his head, and gave up His spirit."
The price has been paid; the victory has been won.
No further sacrifice is needed.
In Christ our sin is completely wiped away.
It is not by our works but by His finished work that our sin is removed.
Christ alone has made our record clean.
We are separated from sin forever.
By His work alone the way into the presence of God has been opened for us.
We are justified in Him; righteous in Him; a new creation in Him.
It is Christ alone who saves; Christ alone who justifies.
It is by faith in Christ alone that we have peace with God.
