The fire of the Holy Spirit is put out by unbelief.

The greatest hindrance to the Holy Spirit is self-sufficiency.

Faith relies upon the power of the Holy Spirit working in us;

walks in the freedom of new life;

and rests in the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Holy Spirit brings scripture to our remembrance;

keeps us from wrong actions;

and leads us in the right way.

He helps us put away all bitterness and resentment;

empowers us to forgive those who wrong us;

fills our heart with thankfulness and praise;

and gives joy to live for Him.

He brings the freedom to speak His word;

to pray for one another;

and to express His love to others.
