The Lord speaks directly to His people through His word.

He is able to bring scripture alive in our heart at a particular time

and for a particular purpose.

When His word is upon our heart

then we have great confidence to do His will.

He will never speak or lead us in a way that is contrary to scripture.

We must not despise the working of the Holy Spirit

in the lives of His people.

We do not despise prophecy but we must judge all things.

We can make judgments because the scripture is our authority

and the Holy Spirit confirms His word upon our heart.

We do not follow the standards of the world;

we follow Christ and His word.
