The Christian life is a spiritual warfare.

The deceitful schemes of the enemy seek to entice us

so we put off the armour of God

and put on the works of the flesh.

We must be protected at all times.

We need to put on all the armour at all times.

Our armour is Christ.

It is by His word; His strength; and His power we stand.

We will find great joy by putting on the love of Christ;

obeying His word; and keeping our hearts pure.

But the destructive power of the works of the flesh

will fill our heart with regret and sorrow.
