2 Timothy 1:9

"Who has saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,"

— 2 Timothy 1:9

All of grace; all in Christ.

Our salvation was planned even before the creation of the world.

It was not by chance; it was not cheap; it was not without purpose.

Only God could make it happen that by faith in Christ alone

we who should be the objects of His wrath

have become the possessors of His life;

the reflection of His character;

and the inheritors of His glory.

Only the love of God could call people born in sin

to inhabit the heights of His holiness.

It is all of grace; all in Christ.
