Scripture our authority; new life our experience.
"Search the scriptures; for in them you think you have eternal life: and they are they which testify of Me."
The scriptures are the revelation of Jesus Christ.
If we love Christ, we will love His word.
Our authority is scripture alone;
our experience is new life in Jesus.
His grace; His love; His righteousness; His power
are known through scripture
and experienced through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
The power of the gospel works mightily
in all who trust in Jesus
and scripture enables us to understand
all that He has done for us.
If we have new life in Christ
then we will desire to know and understand scripture.
It is through the scriptures we grow in new life
and become strong in Christ.
