Holiness is the life of Christ working in us;

peace is the fruit of holiness.

If we live a holy life then peace will be written upon our life.

We follow after peace by keeping our thoughts

fixed upon Christ and His word;

by putting off the need to defend the rights of self;

and by putting on the new life we have received in Christ.

How we act towards others shows who we are in Christ;

we are children of the King.

Everything we do represents the Lord.

Holiness and peace will keep us from things we later regret

and the love of Christ will overcome anger, bitterness, resentment and hatred.
