Our responsibility to stay away from sin.
2 Timothy 2:19 'Nevertheless the foundation of God stands sure, having this seal, The Lord knows those who are His. And, Let every one who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.'
Our foundation is Christ; He saves; He keeps; He provides.
When we trust in Christ, we are owned of God;
we belong to Him; we are His people; His name is upon our life.
The Lord provides the armour we need to stand against the devil;
He keeps us from excessive temptation;
but it is our responsibility to stay away from sin;
to keep His word on our heart;
and to be faithful in serving Him.
