Sifting the wheat.
Luke 22:31 ‘And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:’
The Lord will never allow us to be tested beyond our growth in Him.
The things we consider our strengths can be our greatest weaknesses.
It is only in the trial that the worthless things in our life
can be separated from the precious wheat of new life in Christ.
Our achievements are not the things the Lord treasures most.
He desires to see the beauty of His character formed in us.
Our failures can become our biggest stepping stones
because they allow the Lord to separate
the chaff from the wheat in our life.
