Children of the promise.
Galatians 4:28 ‘Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.’
It is the work of the Holy Spirit
to bring us into the full blessing of the promise,
the gift of God in Jesus Christ.
The promise is received by faith in Christ alone.
We enter into the promise through new birth by the Spirit of God.
The blessing of the promise is the life of Christ in us.
We experience the freedom of the promise through new life.
The freedom we have in Christ is the freedom of eternal life;
His life in us.
We become children of the promise by inheritance in Jesus Christ;
He has made us sons and daughters of the living God.
We have been given all things in Christ.
