Resist steadfast in the faith.
1 Peter 5:8-9 ‘Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist steadfast in the faith’.
Resist means to stand against; steadfast means to stand firm.
We stand against the devil by standing firm in the faith.
We grow in Christ; we must put on Christ in our daily life.
We are saved by His grace; we must continue to grow in grace.
We are kept by His word; we must continue to abide in His word.
We are led by His Spirit; we must walk in the Spirit.
