It is not our works but His life that will be glorified in us.
Revelation 16:15 ‘Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.’
Man makes religions but God made the universe.
When Jesus returns it will not be as a religious icon.
His glory is greater than the beauty of creation.
We shall behold Him in all of His glory.
It is not our works but His life that will be glorified in us.
If we watch for His return
then we will love His word and desire to know Him more.
We will seek daily to grow in Him so His love controls all our actions,
we will put on Christ as our armour
so His righteousness fills our heart and keeps us pure.
