Jesus came to give His people a new heart.
Deut 5:29 ‘O that there were such a heart in them, that they would fear Me, and always keep all My commandments,’
The law could never change the heart;
obedience was not enough.
The Lord longed for a people who could feel what He feels
and love what He loves.
Jesus came to give His people a new heart.
In Christ we are made completely new
so we can feel what He feels;
love as He loves;
and desire all that He desires.
