Maturity in Christ.
1 John 2:14 ‘I have written unto you, fathers, because you have known Him who is from the beginning.’
Maturity in the Christian life is seen by
wisdom that knows how to act;
peace that rests in His provision;
trust that stands upon His word;
and compassion that reaches out to those who need Christ.
Knowing Him is to be united with Him in intimate relationship.
It is to know His character;
to rejoice in His goodness;
and to speak with Him as a friend in close communion.
