Put on the Lord Jesus Christ.
Romans 13:14 ‘But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.’
We cannot live the Christian life by our own efforts.
Legalism and good moral living can never produce holiness.
Christianity is more than living a good life;
it is the life of Christ dwelling in us.
We live the Christian life by putting on Christ.
This is the only way we can live as He wants us to live.
When Christ is our life then we can put on the new life He gives
and put off the corruption and seduction of lustful desires.
We cannot live the Christian life until
we learn to let Jesus Christ live His life in us.
