Supernatural love.
John 13:35 ‘By this shall all men know that you are My disciples, if you have love one to another.’
The love that shows we are the disciples of Christ is supernatural love.
When our heart aches because of what has been said and done against us;
and our character has been openly attacked;
and we have been humiliated; hated; and spoken against
then the supernatural love of Christ is able to shine through us
declaring that we are the disciples of Christ.
It goes against human nature;
and is completely beyond human reasoning.
It is impossible to love with this love unless Christ lives in us.
It is love that never seeks revenge,
and it is always ready to forgive.
