Power to restrain from anger; strength to stand firm.
Colossians 1:11 ‘Strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;’
The Holy Spirit gives us strength to stand firm under pressure.
and power to restrain from anger
It is not our natural ability but the power of God working in us.
Our testimony is that Christ lives in us.
Others will see that our testimony is true
by the power of God strengthening us to do His will;
and keeping us from wrong actions.
It is our everyday life that demonstrates the power of God working in us;
by the way we behave and the things we say.
The small and insignificant times in our life
are great opportunities to let the power of God be seen in us.
