Filled with His goodness.
Romans 15:14 ‘And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that you also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.’
Goodness is a fruit of the Spirit.
It is not our goodness but the goodness of God that must fill our life.
As we grow in His goodness
then our life will become more and more like Jesus.
Goodness will let His glory be seen in us.
It will seek the highest good for others;
it will never compromise truth
or lower the standard of the holiness of God;
it will always show compassion;
is always willing to show mercy;
and it has no selfish aim
but only desires to see others grow in Christ.
