His provision is sufficient for us.
Hebrews 4:9 ‘There remains therefore a rest to the people of God.’
Jesus Christ is the gift of God to us.
His work is a finished work.
We do not achieve life;
we must receive life through faith in Jesus Christ.
We cannot make ourselves better Christians by our own efforts;
we must grow in the new life we have received.
His provision is sufficient for us.
The more we rest in His work;
the more effective our Christian life becomes.
Holiness is not produced by trying to do better.
Holiness is when His love; His joy; His peace is seen in our lives
as we walk in the freedom of new life in Christ.
When we rest in His work then His power can work in us.
