Self control guards the tongue.
James 1:19 ‘Therefore my beloved brethren, let everyone of you be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger:’
New life in Christ develops and grows.
We must learn to walk in it by guarding our tongues
from making a quick response in anger.
Self control is a fruit of the Spirit
that will keep us from saying things we later regret.
