Our love for Christ will be tested.
Luke 22:28 ‘You are those who have continued with Me in My trials.’
Our love for Christ will be tested.
It is in the trials and difficulties we face
that the beauty and strength of our godly nature is most clearly revealed.
When Christ means everything to us
then we will not be complaining over circumstances
but we will express our love for His goodness;
we will not be resentful over the prosperity of others
but we will be thankful for all that Jesus Christ has done for us;
we will not be anxious or distressed
but we will trust in His promises;
we will not be fearful
because we know He is always with us.
When Christ is our life His peace fills our heart with joy.
