Responding to evil with the love of Christ.
Romans 12:21 ‘Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.’
Evil words or deeds have no hold over us when Christ is enthroned in our life.
When we forgive others as Christ has forgiven us
then we enter into wonderful freedom in Christ.
We are set free to love those who wrong us with the love Christ has given us.
If we seek revenge then evil words or deeds will have power over us,
and will hold our heart and mind captive.
It is the love of Christ in us that will put to shame those who pull us down
or seek to destroy our testimony.
When we respond to evil with the love of Christ
then others will see that Christ is alive in us.
