Everyone who has received Christ is called to be an encouragement to others.
1 Thessalonians 5:11 ‘Therefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as you are doing.’
Everyone who has received Christ is called to be an encouragement to others.
We comfort one another by our love for Christ,
our love for scripture,
and our love for one another.
We are to lead by example.
The life of Christ unites us,
truth upholds us,
and the love of Christ motivates us.
We build one another up in Christ through fellowship,
through the scriptures,
and through the demonstration of the truth of scripture in our life.
As we walk in the truth of His word
then others will follow our example.
We are members of one body in Christ.
It is together that we fulfil the needs of the body.
