Faith in Christ and love one for another.
1 John 3:23 ‘And this is His commandment, That we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as He gave us commandment.’
The two main characteristics of the Christian life
are faith in Christ and love one for another.
Faith in Christ is able to breakthrough every barrier
that would prevent His love from being seen in us.
It is not a determination to trust in Christ;
it is the calm assurance of knowing that our life
and the lives of those we love are in His care.
Faith rests in His leading
so that love can be in control of everything we do.
