Radical love.
Ephesians 5:2 ‘And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us, and has given Himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savour.’
The love the Bible speaks about is radical.
It is supernatural love that bears no grudges;
delights in forgiveness;
and gives freely with a joyful heart.
It is worship that is offered to God
by bringing His love into the lives of others.
It does not seek to earn God’s pleasure;
it seeks only to bring Him pleasure.
It desires to do His will;
to love others as He loved us;
and to see others lifted to new heights in Christ.
It is His love in us that we give back to Him
as an offering of thanksgiving for His great love towards us.
