Glory in the Lord
1 Corinthians 1:31 ‘That, according as it is written, He that glories, let him glory in the Lord.’
It is Christ alone who saves.
The rituals of religion have no power to save.
The self righteous will never experience the love of Christ.
We have nothing to glory in except what Christ has done for us.
It is His goodness, not ours, that saves us;
not because we deserve it but because He loved us.
We rest in His work not our own.
Jeremiah 9:24 'But let him that glories glory in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, says the LORD.'
