Blessed are the merciful
Matthew 5:7 ‘Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.’
Mercy reaches out to others with compassion.
It stands by the needy;
lifts up those who are cast down;
helps carry burdens;
is willing to forgive;
will never seek revenge;
but brings peace and reconciliation into the lives of others.
In Christ we receive mercy.
His compassion has no boundaries
as long as we are willing to show mercy to others.
