Partakers of Christ and not just followers of Christ.
Revelation 2:7 ‘He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says unto the churches; To him that overcomes will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.’
The tree of life is Christ.
Christianity is union with Christ.
We only know Him through experiential knowledge.
The Holy Spirit enables us to be partakers of Christ
and not just followers of Christ.
Doctrinal truth can lead us to Christ
but Christianity is more than doctrine.
It is new life.
Defending doctrinal truth against error is not enough.
Acceptance of the truth of the gospel is not enough.
We must experience Him.
If we love His word then we will desire His presence in our life.
