It is necessary to continuously remind ourselves of scripture and to obey it.
2 Peter 1:12 ‘Therefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though you know them, and be established in the present truth.’
It was grace alone that brought us into new life in Christ
but it is our responsibility to walk in the new life He gives.
It is necessary to continuously remind ourselves of scripture and to obey it.
We must continuously forgive those who hurt us;
we must continuously let His love be seen in us;
we must continuously keep ourselves
from the destructive pleasures of a sinful nature.
It is not enough to have forgiven yesterday;
we must continue to forgive today.
In Christ we have all we need to overcome but we must put it on daily.
