Holiness is not our work; it is His work in us.
Galatians 5:22-23 ‘But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, self control: against such there is no law.'
Holiness is not our work; it is His work in us.
Holiness means putting on Christ;
obedience means trusting fully in His word.
The fruit of the Spirit is produced
when we walk in obedience to His word and grow in new life.
In Christ we can reach the heights of holiness
by relying upon His power that works mightily in us.
It is His love not ours that is produced in us.
When we give control of our life to His love
then meekness will produce the desire
to see others blessed and used of God,
and joy will overflow within us.
