Not looking back.
Luke 9:62 'And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.'
The farmer had to keep his eyes fixed upon the plough as he worked.
We cannot serve Christ in a half-hearted way.
Our eyes need to remain focused upon Christ;
to set our heart upon living for Him;
to keep His word in our heart and mind;
to seek His righteousness regardless of who will stand with us;
to desire always that our life will count for His glory.
Our love for Him can never be compared to His great love for us.
The things we lose in serving Christ
are worth nothing in comparison to the things we gain.
