The law guides but it also condemns.
Galatians 3:24 ‘...the law was our schoolmaster to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith.’
The law guides but it also condemns.
It demands what we cannot fulfil;
offers life but brings death;
turns holiness into legalism;
and purity into morality.
But in Christ the law cannot condemn us;
the power of sin cannot hold us;
and the promises of God keep us.
