Christ is the treasure who dwells in earthen vessels.
2 Corinthians 4:7 ‘But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God, and not of us.’
Christ is the treasure who dwells in earthen vessels.
His perfection is seen in our imperfection.
His power moves mightily through our inability.
His strength upholds us in our weakness.
His greatness is revealed in our hopelessness.
He fills our heart with love that the world can never understand;
peace that the world cannot give;
and joy it can never take away.
When we have this treasure then it is not ourselves
but Jesus Christ who is glorified through us.
