Isaac Sharp and Asbjorn Kloster in the Faroe Islands (April – June 1862)

Journal of Isaac Sharp - May 16, 1862

Stormy, misty, and cold. There is cause for much thankfulness in having had so favourable an opportunity of visiting Fugloe (Fugloy) and Svinoe (Svinoy). This being one of the "prayer-days" of the Lutheran Church, of rigid observance, it seems best to remain quietly in our quarters, to which, on the score of health, I have no objection, not being yet free from rheumatic pains; neither is A. Kloster quite well.
